I've been practicing shooting with natural light only and I find.. I LOVE it. I love the softness the ambient light gives to faces and eyes.. I know a flash gives good fill light, but sometimes it's still so harsh, especially on a child's face or when you're going for a specific look.
We took our son to the "Day Out with Thomas"(the train, of course) this past Friday
and I decided NOT to carry my flash..
